Music is an integral part of every service in Newmills Presbyterian Church, and the congregation value the important role it plays in creating the appropriate attitude for worship. The church is blessed with a variety of musically talented individuals, who lead praise each Sunday on a rotational basis. This helps to keep praise and worship in Newmills both fresh and vibrant.

At least twice a month the ‘Worship Group’ leads the congregational singing during the morning service. This group of singers and musicians include in their programme a mixture of contemporary worship songs as well as old time favourites. By doing this they ensure that all members of the congregation feel part of the praise and worship each Sunday.
