Newmills Bowling Club was formed in 1992 and since then has played an active part in Church life.

Who? - All ages warmly welcome. Bowls may be borrowed if you don’t have your own. Even if you don’t participate you’ll enjoy the craic and watching others taking part.

When? - Meets each Thursday evening from September to April at 8pm in the Campbell Hall (7.30pm on Competition nights)

Activities - An enthusiastic membership of around 30 enjoy up to 3 hours bowling each week. About 15 friendly matches are played against other Church clubs throughout the season, as well as tournaments within the club. The club organises the Congregational Dinner held each year in December at which trophies are presented to the winners of the various club tournaments. We also hold an annual Bowlers Service in the church each January at the evening service. The offering at this service is donated to nominated charities.
