Freewill Offering

Who: All Church members wishing to contribute to the work of the Church.
Aims: It is encouraging to see so many Church members contributing to this vital part of our financial income, which enables the congregation to survive from week to week, and year to year.

Gift Aid

Who: All Church members who pay tax directly or indirectly (ie. through employment or capital investment).
Aims: Gift Aid is a vital part of our financial resources, enabling the Church to reclaim tax paid on donations.

Church Flower List

Aims: God has given us a wealth of beauty in flowers, and it helps us in our worship to bring a little of that into His house each Sunday. Often the flowers are passed on to someone who is in hospital or housebound.

Point of Prayer Booklet

Aims: Around Christmas time, the Presbyterian Church publishes a "Points for Prayer" handbook, costing £1.50, which details work within the Church, especially overseas missionaries. The booklet has 31 sections to prompt daily prayer for specific people and topics. Throughout the year, up-to-date requests are highlighted, usually once every 2 months, in an "Update" leaflet.

Church Magazines

The Presbyterian Herald is a family magazine with something for everyone, including feature articles, testimonies, studies on Biblical characters, and reports on missionary news, PWA and the General Assembly. There are also puzzles and competitions for children and, you can "Cook with Kate!!". Cost: £8.40 per year.

Reach Out (previously called the Christian Irishman) aims to keep you up-to-date with our Irish Mission, with reports from all the Irish Mission workers, and a lot more. Bimonthly (ie. 6 issues per year). Cost: £6.00 per year.

The Wider World is produced by the PWA and encourages our ladies to pray for PCI missionaries and deaconesses. It also has fascinating articles and reports.
